Data Science

With a robust three-year background as a data scientist in the financial realm, my expertise lies in crafting models to swiftly identify fraudulent loans.

Beyond my professional role, I’ve embarked on personal projects covering a range of topics, from predicting droughts in Mexico to assessing Intensive Care Unit availability during the COVID era. Additionally, I’ve delved into an investigative project exploring the intriguing connection between remittances and financial inclusion.

Nowadays I work in the improvement of client-business interaction at BBVA, and I am developping with ITESO investigators a proyect focused in the creation/generation of food helped with artificial intelligence and data science.

Artificial Ingelligence

AI is not just a part of my life; it’s an integral aspect that I extensively use and actively contribute to through teaching. I leverage applied AI as my primary tool, confidently and effectively solving diverse challenges with validated data hypotheses.

In my teaching approach, I begin with fundamental coding principles in Python, incorporating relevant mathematics crucial for understanding Machine Learning techniques.

The instructional journey covers AI basics, progressing from simple models to comprehensive aspects like model evaluation and generation, all guided by the philosophy of “Code to learn.”

Nanotechnology

I hold a formal degree in Nanotechnology Engineering, having graduated just before the onset of the COVID pandemic.

Although I haven’t delved into professional work in this field yet, my pre-graduation project involved developing a simulation for a quantum computer with N qubits in Python. This task required applying a comprehensive range of knowledge acquired throughout my academic journey, spanning from calculus and linear algebra to partial differential equations and quantum physics.

I am particularly interested in merging artificial intelligence with nanotechnology to tackle and solve complex problems.

BBVA

At BBVA, I hold the position of Data Scientist Expert within the Relationship Models team. My primary goal is to revolutionize and enhance the bank’s client interaction by leveraging data analytics. I work towards implementing strategic changes that positively impact the overall client experience, utilizing advanced analytics to drive innovation in our approach to customer engagement.

Kueski

At Kueski, I held the position of Data Scientist (III) and accrued three years of experience specializing in fraud prevention modeling. My role involved developing and implementing advanced analytical models to safeguard against fraudulent activities

Saturdays AI

At Saturdays Ai, I serve as a mentor with the goal of effectively imparting knowledge on the concepts of Artificial Intelligence applied to Machine Learning. My approach involves fostering understanding through hands-on projects, emphasizing the core idea of “Code to Learn.”

ITESO

I graduated from the Western Technology Institute of Higher Education completing a Nanotechnology Engineering career.

CUCEI

My Professional Application Project (PAP) was about helping external investigation centers. In this case, I helped on the development of quantum computer simulations.

IRON HACK

A big step on my professional path was taking a course in applied data analytics, where I amplified my abilities to develop code in a code-to-learn environment.

Masaryk

At university, I had the opportunity to go on an international summer exchange program to the Czech Republic. Here I helped with the investigation of plant physiology.
